ABOUT US
We are -Red-Riot- and we are a four piece band from Navan. We started to jam in 2010 as Sleepy Riot and since we have played many gigs supporting acts such as The Original Rudeboys and Easy tide. Our members consist of Jess, the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, and Greg Halford, the bassist and backing vocalist, brother and sister who began the band with childhood friend Andrew Flynn, the lead guitarist.After a run of different drummers we ran into Gary Clerkin completing the four piece as it is today.
In 2011 we won the IYMAs (Irish Youth Music Awards) as part of the Meath team and we recorded two songs for the 2011 IYMAs album. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 we won the award best song for our songs Crazy, Waiting for the Rain and Uncontrollable, and again featured on the winning team and IYMAs album 2013. We released our song 'Stars' to iTunes which charted number 19 in the rock charts. In 2015 we recorded our debut E.P 'This World' and released it to iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and Google Play. This Year, 2016, we our in the process of recording our first album, "Emergence" with the hope it will be released just in time for those summer festivals!
